We’ve recently updated our apps! Here’s an overview of the features.
Fellow EKG+ support
Backers of Fellow’s successful EKG+ Kickstarter campaign have received their kettles. Support for the EKG+ connection to our apps is included in both Brewbar and Brewmaster. Brewbar is an iOS tablet app while Brewmaster is on both iOS and Android phones. The Android Brewmaster was most recently updated to include the EKG+.
Features in the app include:
- Remotely turn on or off the kettle
- Set the temperature and hold it
To connect your kettle, head to the Settings in your app, connect the kettle, and you’ll see the icon appear in the bottom-left of your side menu. If you’re having connection issues, make sure the kettle isn’t already connected to another app (it’s a one-to-one connection). You can also try unplugging the kettle from the power source and plugging it back in.
Export your data as a csv file
A long-requested feature is now in action for our Brewmaster and Acaia Coffee app customers! For a low, one-time purchase of 99 cents, the export option gives you the ability to export all the data you’ve recorded in your app. There is no limit on the number of times you export your data.
You can purchase the new feature by navigating to Settings > Export. You’ll be prompted for the purchase and then you have access to it forever!
Exports will be emailed to you with a link in the email. The file format is .csv and the data is all text.
