We’re heading to the Specialty Coffee Association Expo in Chicago this April 12-14! 2024 marks the 10-year anniversary of Acaia. To celebrate, we've got some new, exciting products and swag to see at the event! Here are some highlights:

- The US team is attending this year's event, so our US office will be closed for customer service emails and repairs from April 9-16. We will be back to our computers and workbenches on April 17.

Demo Acaia
Orbit Black, White, And Space Gray
Test our brand-new trio of grinder colorways! The Orbit Black, White, and Space Gray were released last month on our US, EU, and Japan websites. All three grinders now incorporate our Multi-Purpose Hopper. Replacing the original funnel, the grinders arrive preinstalled with the metal hopper. It includes a lid to reduce noise and prevent flying dust.
Reimagined Ion Beam
The latest Acaia ion generator is shorter than its predecessor but with the same static-neutralizing effect. It features a new IR Mode: where the generator detects when an object, like a dosing cup, is placed in front of it. This "sense" ability automatically switches the product on for a more streamlined workflow.
Orion Nano
Meet the Orion Nano, a winner in last year's Best New Product awards at World of Coffee Athens. Our smallest bean doser has a unique smart feature when connected with other Orion Nanos. The integration called the Orion’s Belt enables effortless customization of dosing.

Make the Weight Game
Drop by stand #2119 to participate in an exciting Expo game! We have fabulous prizes for our top contenders including Acaia totes, t-shirts, coozies, beanies, and more! The highest scorers can win a Pearl (two scales awarded per day during the show). Additionally, every entrant will be put into a raffle to win an Orbit grinder! Best New Product
We are thrilled to announce that our upcoming Astra is through to the Best New Product finals. It is in currently in development and will be a new addition to our accessories category. You can find the Astra on the competition display throughout the Expo or come by our stand to see it in use.
Competitor Support
If you're competing in the upcoming championships, keep an eye out for one of our staff near the competitor areas. They'll be around to tune up your Acaia scales for your routines. Find a list of our recommendations for the stage on our Help Center here.
US Customer Support and Marketing
Our US team will be at the show, so we ask that you be patient with our service. They will be away from Tuesday, April 9 to Tuesday, April 16. Questions will be responded to as quickly as possible. Repairs in the Portland office will not be done during this time. US service hours will resume on Wednesday, April 17.
Our marketing team is also traveling for the Expo, so our replies may be delayed around the event schedule. If you have a query from April 9 - April 17, contact our international team at support@acaia.co.
