Nova is a passion project built around one idea: latte art should feel intuitive, comfortable, and responsive. We designed the Acaia Nova Latte Art Pitcher as an extension of the barista’s hand. It features a balanced oval-droplet shape, double-walled stainless steel, and the patent-pending Thermo Contact Zone.
Its in-hand design creates a responsive command of the milk throughout steaming, swirling, and pouring. This handheld design supports the natural control of height, angle, rotation, and flow.
The insulated body provides a comfortable hold and milk temperature reading. Our dedicated Thermal Contact Zone provides a tactile temperature reference during steaming. The first release features the Type 02 spout. Optimal for flow patterns and designed to guide milk and microfoam toward the spout for a consistent, predictable pour. Designed for baristas who want a pitcher that feels less like a container and more like a natural part of the pour.
Beyond the Surface
Nova is available in two finishes. The Glossy Nova features a polished stainless steel construction with a smooth, reflective finish. The outer body, built to fit your grasp, pairs with the electropolished interior. Easy to clean with durability to last through your latte art journey.
The Black Nova features a sleek black shell and a smooth ceramic inner wall. This finish offers an alternative for baristas who prefer a coated milk-contact surface. The non-stick interior adds a distinctive touch to the Nova experience with the practicality of a glass-like surface.

Nova’s oval, tapered droplet profile is shaped for a natural handheld grip. The positioning of the hand close to the pitcher’s center of mass equips any barista, novice or champion, with balanced, instinctual control.
The droplet geometry guides milk and microfoam toward the spout for a steadier flow and controlled swirling. The ideal design for delivering a consistent integration of milk and microfoam to the cup. The handheld form directly connects the barista to the milk’s movement. This makes the craft of latte art, from angle to flow, feel natural from the initial pour through to the final draw-through.
