Team Acaia is back from World of Coffee Brussels

Taking place June 26-28, we packed up our products and travelled to the Belgian capital city. The 2026 European edition saw attendees experience the recently released Horizon, demo a soon-to-launch product, converse with international enthusiasts, and enjoy an energetic schedule of brew bar guests. This year, we also welcomed back the Artisan and Kees van der Westen teams, along with the Profitec MOVE espresso machine, to our booth. World brewing, spirit-mixing, and roasting champions also took to three stages across the packed floors.

Read ahead to see what we did throughout the event!

At the Booth

From the opening of the floor on Friday morning, our booth was buzzing with people from across the coffee industry. Located close to the World Brewers Cup stage, we demoed new products, shot videos with collaborators, and reconnected with so many who traveled for the event.

Espresso/Brew Bar

Throughout the three days, our coffee bars were taken over by incredible brewers, roasters, and coffee beans from across the world. We welcomed many friends to our stand, with access to both espresso and filter brewing methods, provided by Origami, Profitec, and Kees van der Westen.

Thank you again to our guests for joining us!

Specialized Demos

Mathieu Theis

The Horizon, which you might have seen in more than one coffee competition, was developed with Mathieu Theis. The reigning Swiss Barista Champion and MAME co-founder, it made sense to welcome him to our booth in Brussels. Mathieu immediately felt like a part of the team, and we would like to thank him for taking the time to join us at the show.

Artisan

The Acaia Cosmo is a high-capacity roastery scale that connects exclusively with Artisan software. Artisan is responsible for artisan.plus, a cloud-based extension adding professional features like inventory management to their app. The team of three ran interactive demos at the booth, and we appreciate them taking the time to join us!

Kees van der Westen

The creator of espresso machines that look at home in modern art galleries, Kees van der Westen, is a pioneer of form and function. This year, the company returned to our stand with the iconic Spiritello model, which took center stage in our booth.

World Brewers Cup

At this World of Coffee gathering, we watched national champions present on the World Brewers Cup stage, vying to win this year's top spot. We spotted many of our products as part of competitors' setups, including the Pearl, Pyxis Black, and Horizon. There was even the utilization of an unreleased trio of scales, which the competitor brewed on to reach the final round (more information coming about those very soon!).
We would like to extend our congratulations to the dedicated competitors who took to the stage to represent their local coffee communities. And to Malaysia's Nas Jaafar for achieving the title of the 2026 World Brewers Cup champion.

Thank you

Thank you to everyone who made the time to drop by the booth and chat with our team, our brewers, and our partners. We look forward to attending more events in the future.
