For US orders, we recommend ordering before or on December 8 to arrive before December 24. Unfortunately, keep in mind that UPS Ground cannot guarantee shipment dates.
For European orders, we recommend ordering before or on December 9 to arrive before December 24.
Our European webshop orders will continue shipping up until December 17, excluding closed office hours. We will notify European webshop customers by email.
Customer Service Hours
Our customer service hours will also be adjusted for the holiday season.
Our US team will be taking Thursday, November 25 through Sunday, November 28 off to recharge for the upcoming end of the year. You can still message us through our social media if you have any queries, and we will be back to respond to support emails on November 29.
The following are other important dates for the rest of the year.
- For December 22-24 and December 29-January 4, our international team will be away.
- December 24-27: The US team will be away. Customer support emails resume on December 28.
- December 31-January 3: The US team will be off. During these times, customer support emails will resume on January 4.
- December 23-24, 30-31: European office closed.

If you are looking to purchase our new Lunar 2021 espresso scale, we have been restocking our US, European, and Japanese stores almost daily. This restock occurs Monday to Friday. Here are the specific times of release for each official Acaia store.
- US - M-F 9 am Pacific
- European - M-F 10 am CET
- Japan - M-F 11 am JST
Recently, we dropped the price of our original industry-leading Lunar scale. This drop affects all three color choices, including the white ceramic-coated version. While this price difference is a permanent change, our stocks are limited. This offer will last until we sell out, so make sure to act fast and purchase soon!
Returns and exchanges are welcome for most products within 30 days of purchase. Orders placed on November 15 to December 31, 2021 have an extended holiday return policy. Holiday returns will be accepted until February 1, 2022. You can see our normal return policy here.
Shipping Policy Updates
We have made a number of changes to our shipping policy. These changes include an ‘order changes policy’ which affects both editing an order or change of address after the order has been completed or shipped, i.e. once a parcel is in transit there will be a fee for redirecting to a new address. This fee is stipulated by our carrier service.
We have also introduced Route shipping insurance as part of our delivery service. Route shipping insurance does not guarantee a delivery time but is an optional insurance offered in case of loss, theft, or damage of packages. This insurance is already present when ordering but can be removed by the customer on the subtotal cart page by clicking the ‘remove’ text. Read about these changes and more here.
